High-flying football talent production hub Kenpong Football Academy defeated Winneba-based Division 2 side, Windy Professionals with a goal to nil in a preparatory game ahead of the upcoming season.
The team which is bankrolled by the astute Kennedy Agyapong (Kenpong) enjoyed the victory through a 53rd-minute goal from striker Faruk Mohammed on Thursday to see off the opponent in a local derby at the National Sports College Park.
Kenpong Football Academy is a conglomerate of the Kenpong Group of Companies owned by the celebrated Kenpong. The team has set out to unearth talents and also become the epitome of well-managed sporting institutions in the country.
It is expected that coach Kwasi Appiah’s side will engage in various friendly matches to fine-tune their skills and get themselves ready for the skills ahead.
