It was football a great display of football made in Ghana at the Accra sports stadium on Sunday afternoon when Accra Hearts of battled city rivals Accra Great Olympics in the match week 16 fixture of the ongoing 2021/2022 Ghana Premier League season.
The game which many describe as the greatest city derby in Ghana, dubbed the “Ga-Mantse” derby, which translates as the “derby of Ga Paramount Chief”, saw defending league champions Hearts of Oak and Great Olympics sell out good football game to the fans in attendance and those who watched on television.
Great Olympics won the day with sole striker from Yusif Abdul-Razak in the 30th minute of the first half of play. Hearts of Oak played out their best but their best was not enough as the “Dade” lads ended the game as victors.
Hearts of Oak new signing Sulley Muntari, former Inter Milan, AC Milan star made his debut for the Phobians.
