The Referees Appointment Committee of the Ghana Football Association has affirmed the list of referees appointed to officiate Ghana’s flagship club football match between Accra Hearts of Oak and Asante Kotoko on Sunday at the Accra sports stadium.
Accra Hearts of Oak were originally scheduled host the record winner of the elite division title on Sunday, December 12 last year, but the game had to be postponed at the time to pave way for the hosts to honour the CAF inter club competitions they were then participating in. The Match Officials for the game were appointed for the very week before the postponement of the game, and the appointment committee has confirmed that there will be no changes to the list for the match which now comes of on Sunday, February 20.
Centre referee Rastum Gameli Senorgbe maintains his role same as his assistants Patrick Papala and Gilbert Adom Mensah for Lines 1 and 2 respectively, while Bashiru Dauda functions as the 4th referee. Match Commissioner Adama Makaila has as well been maintained to complete the list of the officials assigned to steer the affairs of the game on the day.
