Kwame Opare Addo, Communication Director of Accra Hearts of Oak has praised the noble supporters of the Rainbows for being loyal to the club to date.
Opare Addo also called on the supporters to come in numbers and cheer up the team when they host their sworn rivals Asante Kotoko on Sunday in a Super Clash game at the Accra Sports Stadium.
Games involving Hearts and Kumasi Asante Kotoko have been filled with much tension and the Phobians will want to claim for points as they work on reviving their season.
“Well, they’ve been loyal to the club. This is a big game that we expect that once again they are loyalty, so they will come and support the team which will motivate the players whenever they see them in the stands.” He told Isaac Ganyo Tamakloe of ghanasportspage.com.
Opare hopes the supporters will continue to have faith and encourage the team to get back on track.
The Rainbow club sits 7th on the league log with 24 points with their bitterest rivals, Asante Kotoko leading the log with 36 points.
