Former Accra Hearts of Oak and Great Olympics midfielder, Joe Tagoe has predicted good future for ex-Black Stars winger Sulley Muntari in the Ghana Premier League.
Ex-Inter Milan and AC Millan star Muntari joined Accra Hearts of Oak on a year deal following his departure from Spanish side Albacete.
His return is the first in over a decade since leaving the shores for greener pastures – starting off at Udinese.
The diminutive midfielder, affectionately called ‘Bobby Short’ believes Muntari is on the right path to do great things in his return to the GPL.
“I hope the GFA should even commend him for the move because he has demonstrated that he still loves the nation. Most of the players find it difficult whenever they come back to play in the GPL before they retire. As you can see Sulley had a great performance in his first two appearances. He played 80 minutes in his second game and checking at his age shows he is on the right path to do great things in Ghana football.” Tagoe told Tru FM during an interview with Otegha MoreFans.
