The much-awaited opening between Kenpong Football Academy and Apata Kofi FC at the Pomade DA Schools Park was rained off yesterday and it was rescheduled for 8 am this morning.
Report on our desk can confirm to you that referee Philip has been beaten mercilessly after the home fans stormed the pitch in the 80th minute, following a foul claim by the home team.
Apata Kofi took the lead with a penalty in the game but Kenpong Football Academy fought hard to get an equalizer before the 80th minute where the aggrieved fans of Apata Kofi attacked the referee for what they perceived to be unfair officiating against their club following a foul incident.
