Legon Cities had to again fight back to draw after sharing the spoils against RTU as their match ended 1-1 on Saturday..
RTU hosted the Accra giants at the Aliu Mahama Sports Stadium in a week 19 action in the ongoing GPL season.
Mohammed Suleiman scored an equaliser to cancel out RTU’s first lead which was converted by Issah Akuka following one-two play from Ronald Frimpong and Stephen Dankwa at the 32nd minute.
The result was RTU’s second consecutive home draw as they chase their first win after six matches.
But for Legon Cities, who sit tenth on the standings, will play in their next meeting against Great Olympics in Accra and will hope for a win after sharing the spoils with Hearts and the GPL returnees.
Legon Cities ended the game at the dying minutes with ten men after their goalie, William Essu was shown a second yellow card.
