Ashanti Gold have hammered Kumasi King Faisal 2-0 on week 20 of the Ghana Premier League at the Obuasi Len Clay Sports Stadium on on Friday.
The two-goal victory recorded by the Miners is their first win after four games.
The heroes of the afternoon were Mamudu Kamaradin and Opoku Agyemang who bagged the two goals after the first half.
Kamaradin registered the opener for Ashanti Gold, before Opoku Agyemang scoerd the second goal at the 89th minute.
The Miners afterwards the first goal went on to fight before grabbing the second goal at the dying minutes to seal the victory.
AshGold following their four games winless run have now sealed a first win since a slim win over Dreams FC in January. They lost 2-1 to Karela United in their previous fixture, before mesmerizing King Faisal today.
King Faisal dominated the early minutes of the exchanges and produced lots of goal scoring opportunities but Ashanti Gold took their chances and won the game 2-0.
