Berekum Chelsea eased past Karela United in Berekum with a goal victory to go ten games unbeaten.
Emmanuel Sarpong scored the only goal in the second half as Berekum Chelsea beat Karela United 1-0 on week 20 of the 2021/22 Premier League season.
Karela United who went into the game with a 2-1 win over Ashantigold on week 19 conceded the only goal after the 50th minute through a strike from Emmanuel Sarpong.
The first half of the game saw an end-to-end competetion which took the game to a stalemate before the 50th minute goal.
The result takes Berekum Chelsea to 29 points while Karela stays on 29 points after 20 league matches.
On other-hand, Accra Lions also claimed a goal victory over Dreams FC in Accra at the latter part of the game courtesy Fawzan Dandawa.
The Lions hosted the Dewu-based GPL giants at the Accra Sports Stadium.
The victory guides the Lions to the 12th position with 24 points after the slim win at home. The visitors sits at the 10th position with 26 points.
