A lone striker form Sam Adams was enough for Aduana Stars to grab all three points at the Agyemang Badu Park in Dormaa on Sunday after inconsistent Accra Hearts of Oak as they extend their winning streak in bid to catch up with league leaders, Asante Kotoko.
Following a 32nd minute injury of Hearts of Oak goalkeeper Richard Atta, Aduana Stars managed to break the deadlock through Sam Adams, who benefited from a sweet pass from Prince Acquah to put the home side in the lead.
Hearts of Oak were hoping to make amends and come back strongly to find the equalizer, but all efforts fell on rocks and, failing to score any more goals, Aduana Stars held on to their goal to end the game 1-0 in their favour.
