Asante Kotoko’s Circle 0086 China Communications Director, Martin Tawiah, known in the sporting fraternity as Sir Martin-Ktee, has urged Asian-based Asante Kotoko diaspora fans to come together and help raise the flag of the club to the world.
Sir Martin called on the fans based in Japan, Malaysia, India, South Korea and other Asian countries to join the Fabulous camp so they all look for a way forward to support the club from abroad.
The Communication Director of Circles 0086 issued this statement as part of the third Anniversary of the formation of the group’s existence in China.
The Chinese-based Circles has been contributing their part towards making Kotoko great again and is willing to help the club with the support from committed fans living in Asia.
In his statement, he said; “On this note, I am calling every Asante Kotoko supporter who is living in Asia to contact me so we come together as a strong team to support our mother club, Asante Kotoko. We want to see Asante Kotoko dominating Africa next season and beyond. We want to lead Africa football so we should all come together as Asia-based fans to throw our support behind the club.”
The Porcupines are now in a rich vein of form, aiming to win their 25th GPL title this season.
The Chinese-based Circles laid down three years ago reiterated their aim for the African Club of the 20th Century.
“We aim to watch the club dominating in CAF Competitions, but we need to come together to build, so the supporters based in Asia should come together and be registered on the club’s database supporters project and build up to support our mother club.”
