Hearts of Oak defeated Obuasi Ashantigold by a 2-1 scoreline at the Accra Sports Stadium in a week 21 of the Ghana Premier League.
After the game, coach Thomas Duah has accused referee George Vormawah for causing their defeat to the title holders.
He confidently divulged that they will soon start sending schnapps to the match venues to curse bad referees.
Despite the disappointing result, Coach Thomas Duah insisted the two sides demonstrated a master-class football but the referee is behind their downfall in Accra.
Prolific attacker, Afriyie Barnieh scored brace to hand the Rainbows a maximum points but the consolation from Aminu Adams wasn’t enough to give the Miners a point.
In a post match interview, the gaffer stated;
“You could clearly see that the referee had his own results in his pockets, even though Hearts of Oak played well but the referee was awful, very soon we will start bringing our schnapps to the pitch, because we will be cursing any bad referees.” He said.
