Whiles the stage is getting prepared for the two West African giants to claim a ticket for the upcoming World Cup, the Super Eagles are hoping to trounce Ghana and register their name at the mundial.
Ahead of the game, the Technical Advisor/Director of the Nigeria senior national soccer team, Augustine Eguavoen has tasked Ghana and Nigeria fans to ‘put arms around’ for the make-or-break clash.
Ghana will host the Super Eagles in the first leg encounter at the Baba Yara Sports Stadium on this Friday before they travel to the Monshood Abiola Stadium in Abuja for the second leg.
Coach Eguavoen, who led the Nigerians for the recent AFCON aim to unleash their anger on the Black Stars following their disappointing exit at the knockout stage of the just ended African championship after a narrow defeat to Tunisia.
Speaking to the fast growing sports website, Ghanasportspage.com, the gaffer stated;
“Let us just embrace it and enjoy the game. Enjoy and just support the game and let’s show the world that we are building up from our own side and display some good football.” He shortly divulged.
Eguavoen is looking to snatch the bragging rights to make their seventh World Cup appearance.
