Having prepared well for the game against Nigeria and leading Ghana for the first time in a competitive game, Coach Otto Addo hopes for a great performance in the duel.
The Black Stars will take on Nigeria in the first leg of the World Cup qualifier play-offs at home on Friday with the team aim of returning to the winning ways at the Baba Yara Sports Stadium.
Speaking in a pre-match press conference ahead of the game, the German-based Ghanaian tactician said his side is ready to demonstrate what the have practiced and confident of a win.
“Yeah, I think everything is on point. We trained well. We have to think about a lot of changes in the team because of injuries but we are ready looking forward to all tomorrow.”
“The players are ready, they are in good shape. We had some sequent tactical training but the players have done well, did well and I hope that we can show what we trained on the pitch tomorrow.”
Otto Addo’s side will be playing without the team’s captain Andre Ayew due to injury meanwhile Edmund Addo who suffered injury is not available for the game.
