After a scrappy affair in Kumasi as Ghana hosted Nigeria in the first leg of the heavyweight World Cup qualifier play-offs game, the second leg clash will be held this evening at the Moshood Abiola Sports Stadium.

Ghanasportspage.com predicts the Black Stars’ probable starting lined-up for their return leg against the Super Eagles today.

Black Stars will be looking to participate at the continental competition after missing out in Russia 2018.

Ghana after a dissapointing performance at the recent AFCON tournament bounced back with an impressive performance at the Baba Yara Sports Stadium despite the goalless draw on Friday.

Following Friday’s stalemate Ghana have now failed to win any of their last five games across all competitions, while Nigeria have managed just one win in their last five home games.

After a declaration from the team’s medical that all the players are fit for the return leg, we believe that Coach Otto Addo is expected to maintain majority of the squad that started in the first leg.

Otto Addo is likely to make one change in the team which will give Osman Bukari the opportunity to replace Fatawu Issahaku in the starting line-up.

English-based goalkeeper Jojo Wollacot is expected to keep his place in the post after keeping a clean sheet in their first fixture at home.

At the defence, Daniel Amartey and Alexander Djiku will operate at the central defensive role whiles Odoi and Gideon Mensah play as right-fullback and left-fullback.

Elsewhere, Real Mallorca’s Baba Iddrisu will start in a defensive midfield role, with Thomas Partey holding the midfield alongside Mohammed Kudus.

Crystal Palace’ attacker Jordan Ayew and Osman Bukari are also expected to play from the right and left wings.

Furthermore, AS Roma youngster, Felix Afena-Gyan who impressed in his debut game for the Black Stars will keep his position as the team’s striker in today’s crunchy encounter.
