Coach Samuel Boadu, Hearts of Oak head coach has moved his attentions to the upcoming Super Clash against their sworn-rivals, Asante Kotoko on week 24 of the Ghana Premier League at the Baba Yara Sports Stadium, Kumasi following their slim win over Medeama SC in Accra on Saturday.
The tactician has disclosed that the Rainbows need to come up a bit before they can pick a good result against the league leaders.
Boadu insisted they had a poor performance against Medeama but they are going into the third Super Clash against Asante Kotoko with a different mindset.
“What I can say is we will prepare well. Concerning today’s game, we were down a bit but we need to come up ahead of the Kotoko game. Is about preparation and we will prepare well. But then, the footwork will decide and the end of the day will determine the better side.” Boadu revealed in a post match interview.
The victory over Medeama SC helped the title holders to enter the top four with 36points in week 23.
Having shared the spoils with Porcupines in a first leg of the GPL, Hearts of Oak stretched their arms to pick a great victory over the Reds and lift the President’s Cup.
