Former Black Stars goalkeeper, Fatawu Dauda has indicated that the Swindon Town goalie, Joojo Wallocott is having the highest goalkeeping techniques than all the goalkeepers currently in Ghana.
Fatawu, known as Lion made it clear that the young goaltender is getting confidence match after match and it will be difficult to bench him.
Wallocott was invited for the first in 2021 when goalkeeper Richard Ofori was injured, played at the recent AFCON and also guided the Black Stars to qualify for the upcoming World Cup in Qatar after crushing out Nigeria.
Richard Ofori returned into the Black Stars after recovering from injury but the English-based goalkeeper, Wallocott was kept in the goal post during the double header against the Super Eagles of Nigeria in a week ago.
Wallocott will play for the first time at the World and he is standing tall over other goalkeepers both in the Ghana Premier League and the senior national soccer team, the Black Stars of Ghana.
Fatawu revealed during an interview with Sadik Adams on Angel TV.
“Joojo Wallocott is having the highest goalkeeping technique than all the goalkeepers currently in Ghana.
“He is getting the confidence match after match. I think with his performance it will be difficult to bench him.” Fatawu stated.
Wallocott has conceded eleven goals out of the ten games he has played for Ghana but his great saves denied Eguavoen’s side to claim a ticket to the World Cup in Qatar.
