Former Asante Kotoko right-back Samuel Inkoom has joined arch-rivals Accra Hearts of Oak on a one and half year deal. The 32-year-old defender made his debut for the Ghana Premier League (GPL) Champions Accra Hearts of Oak against his former club Asante Kotoko in Kumasi on Sunday, 10th April 2022, and gave out a performance that swept spectators and pundits off their feet.
Former FC Basel defender has expressed his feeling after joining the phobians .
“I’m elated to join Accra Hearts of Oak. The journey began last Sunday when I made my debut in Kumasi and it was a great feeling.
“The results weren’t what we were expecting but we live to fight another day. Let’s all help to make the Ghana Premier League a better one”, Phobia! He posted on his official social media page.
Accra Hearts of Oak’s next Premier League fixture is against Elmina Sharks on Sunday at the Accra Sports Stadium. Inkoom is looking forward to helping his team secure the three maximum points on Sunday.
