The Black Queens of Ghana trains on Monday ahead of their international friendly game against Morocco on Tuesday, 12th April 2022 at the FAR Sportive Sports Stadium in Rabat.
Head coach Mercy Tagoe and her girls have been training for the past weeks at the Ghanaman Soccer Center of Excellence in Prampram before departing to Morocco on Saturday 9th April 2022.
Mercy Tagoe has spoken about the Preparation and how important this friendly will be for the team in future assignments ahead of today’s friendly against Morocco.
“We have been in camp for close to two weeks now and fortunately the Women’s League is ongoing so bringing these girls together wasn’t too difficult. They were all active and in good shape, though there were one or two lapses here and there, and with the help of my assistants, we have tried to shape them up for this international game”. She said.
“Though we could not qualify for AFCON but that does not mean we should just come to play anyhow and go back, we are going to play, the girls are ready. Like i said, everything we do, we always think of mother Ghana first before we think about any other thing so we are going to play a good game today”, she told GFA Media.
This friendly will help Morocco as part of their build-up to the African Women’s Cup of Nations in July 2022. The game is scheduled at 10:00 PM Ghana time; 22:00GMT at the FAR Sportive Stadium in Rabat
