Black Maidens head coach Baba Nuhu has assembled a squad of 22 players for the trip to Guinea to take on their Guinean counter parts in Saturday’s FIFA U-17 Women’s World Cup qualifier first leg encounter of the third round.
The squad of 22 players and the technical team will depart the shores of Ghana to the Capital city of Guinea, Conakry on Wednesday, where they will take on Guinea in the first leg of the third round of the ongoing U17 Women’s World Cup to be staged in India in October 2022.
The first leg has been scheduled for Saturday, April 16, 2022 at the 50,000 capacity Stade Général Lansana Conté in Conakry, Guinea.
On the road to the third round, the Black Maidens progressed with a 4-0 aggregate over Senegal in March, after winning 1-0 in Senegal before wrapping up the second leg in Ghana with a 3-0 emphatic victory.
