The head coach of Accra Hearts of Oak, Samuel Boadu has admitted that his team wasn’t good in the MTN FA Cup quarter-final game against Skyy FC despite making it to the semi-final stage of the competition.
The title holders progressed with a goal victory against the Division One League side at the Accra Sports Stadium.
Patrick Razak’s lone goal that came at the 66th minute helped the Phobians to snatch the keys for the next round.
The gaffer insists his side were not able to demonstrate an impressive performance despite the win. Boadu also claimed that it is always difficult to battle out with Division One League side.
In a conversation with StarTimes after the encounter, the head coach revealed, “My team’s performance wasn’t good at all though we managed to get one goal. It is always difficult playing against Division One League teams.” He stated.
Hearts were able to snatch victory at the 66th minute when Awako chipped a master-class pass towards Razak who immediately meets the ball and converted it.
