Deputy Minister of Transport Soccer Gala: Unbeatable Breman FC defeats Mepom FC to bag ¢10,000

After a twelve days journey, Breman FC have emerged as the winners of the 2022 edition of the Adom Easter Gala organized and financed by the Deputy Minister of Transport, Ghana and the MP for Upper West Akim, Hon. Frederick Obeng Adom.

Breman FC crossed the bridge to grab a historical victory after qualifying from zone five.

They defeated Mepom FC with a 4-2 scoreline on penalty shootout after a frantic goalless draw.

Elsewhere, Great Mohammedans went home with Gh¢3,000 after picking a 1-0 win over Adeiso Anchease at the third and fourth place.

Mepom FC also earned Gh¢5,000 cash prize with bronze, jersey and football as the runner-up of the fourth edition of the Adom Easter Gala.

A total of 92 teams from 8 zones participated in this year’s edition but Breman FC were among the last eight teams to reach the final playoffs in the district’s capital, Adeiso.

The final game was played on Monday, 18th April, 2022 at the Adeiso Methodist Park after a curtain-raiser between Adom Eleven and Referees/Media Eleven.
