In-form Ghanaian attacker, Bernard Tekpetey who play his club football for Ludogorets Razgrad in the Bulgarian top-flight league has reiterated his desire to make a return into the Black Stars of Ghana ahead of the FIFA World Cup 2022 in Qatar.
Tekpetey has been a phenomenal for Ludogorets this season and also helping them to lift the league title last season since joining the team from Schalke 04.
The 24-year-old player is aiming his outstanding performance with the Bulgarian side will guide him to return into the Black Stars for the upcoming FIFA World Cup.
“I’m ever ready to return into the national team if only I am fit. I will always be ready to receive a call and hoping to play for the national team again if there’s no injury problems. That’s what I’m hoping and praying for.” Tekpetey told Wontumi Nationwide Sports on Tuesday afternoon.
The member of Ghana’s 2017 AFCON squad bagged two goals this weekend for his club in their 4-1 win against Slavia Sofia in the Bulgarian league.
They are topping the league table with 67points after week 27.
