Hearts of Oak goaltender, Richard Baidoo has named Bechem United’s first choice goalkeeper, Iddrisu Abdulai as the best in the ongoing GPL campaign.
Baidoo explained that the shot stopper has managed to keep many clean sheets for his club and his contribution has been superb.
The goalkeeper ignored his co-goalkeepers, Richard Attah, Richmond Ayi and Benjamin Mensah to fish out the Bechem United goalie as the best.
Goalkeeper Baidoo who stayed in between the sticks for Hearts when they lost 4-0 to JS Saoura in the return leg of CAF Confederations Cup in Algeria made this honest revelation during an interview with Ghanasportspage.com.
“To me it is the Bechem United goalkeeper, Iddrisu Abdulai. He is performing well. To be honest he is having a top form because he has been able to keep many clean sheets in the league. His contribution to Bechem United is super.”
After matchday 25 of the GPL, Bechem United are eight points behind the league leaders, Asante Kotoko.
The talented Abdulai Iddrisu has been impressive for Bechem United FC this season in the ongoing season.
He is enjoying a breakthrough season with the Hunters so far the campaign and has been outstanding for the side
The goalkeeper made few appearances in the previous season for the club deputizing for goalkeeper Asempa but has been a revelation of himself this season.
He has become the obvious first choice goalkeeper for the Hunters this season.
