Richard Baidoo has already offered his praises to Bechem United goalkeeper Iddrisu Abdulai in a recent interview with Ghanasportspage.com.
However, the Rainbows goalkeeper believes Bechem United is the club with the most impressive and outstanding performance despite Kotoko’s good run this season.
Bechem United has had a glittering performance this season and still keeping their faith as title contenders.
The goalkeeper has struggled to get into the starting line-up of the Phobians after he conceded four goals against JS Saoura during the CAF Confederations Cup second leg in Algeria.
He spent last season at Karela United on loan from Hearts of Oak where he found his rhythm before moving back to his mother club after the 2020/21 season in aid of having an enough playing time but the goalkeeper is tasting bitterest days with the reigning champions of the Ghana Premier League since Richard Attah and Richmond Ayi are sharing the spot.
The 23-year-old, talented goalkeeper did benefit from some quality teammates like Kwame Peprah whilst in Anyone.
Richard Baidoo in his opinion snubbed his club, Hearts of Oak as he named his best GPL clubs this season but singled out Bechem United as the team with the most impressive performance.
Speaking to ghanasportspage.com, Baidoo discussed how their rivals Asante Kotoko and the likes of Aduana Stars have impressed him but he named ‘The Hunters’ as the best so far.
“I will say, our rivals Kotoko because they have impressed me, Aduana is also part.” – He stated.
“In all, the team that has impressed me most is Bechem United. They’ve had a great performance and great season.” – He concluded.
Bechem United is second on the league table with 44 points behind Asante Kotoko, first on the league log with 52 points.
