Hearts of Oak will play host to Dreams FC today at the Accra Sports Stadium in a Week 27 clash as they seek another win following last week’s perfect 3-0 win against Accra Lions at the same venue.
A win today for Samuel Boadu will elevate the defending champions from the fourth position to the third position should Medeama SC draw or concede defeat on Monday to inform Aduana Stars in Dormaa.
Today’s setup for the hosts is likely to see at least three changes from the team that won against Accra Lions.
In the previous game, Sulley Muntari came from the bench to assist Obeng Junior but the veteran midfielder will miss the game against the visitor’s whiles Kofi Kordzi and Isaac Mensah are not in camp.
Obeng Junior will however miss the game due to the injury he sustained last weekend. He will be replaced by former FC Samartex forward, Benjamin York.
Goalkeeper Richard Attah has also returned into the first eleven to rest Richmond Ayi.
Attah missed six GPL games in chains plus two FA Cups after picking up a knock against Aduana Stars.
Samuel Inkoom will still start ahead of captain Fatawu Mohammed alongside Dennis Korsah at the left-back position. Mohammed Alhassan will also partner with Caleb Amankwa at the center-back.
Hearts of Oak will be fired up for the match against Dreams FC today as they hope for three points to get close to their sworn rivals Asante Kotoko.
They have boosted the midfield with Salim Adams who reclaims his position at the midfield.
