The Ghana Football Association has reached an agreement with German giants, Borussia Dortmund to acquire the service of Coach Otto Addo as the coach of the Ghana senior men’s team.
The coach will lead the Black Stars to the 2023 Africa Cup of Nations (AFCON) qualifiers and the 2022 World Cup in Qatar after the green light was given.
The 46-year-old Dortmund deputy coach occupied the role of the Black Stars following the departure of Milovan to help Ghana to book a ticket to the upcoming World Cup in Qatar with an outstanding performance of the lads.
A report reaching the Ghana football fraternity this morning has confirmed the service of Otto Addo as a permanent manager of the Ghana senior national soccer team.
“I got permission from Dortmund. Under certain conditions, it works out that I can do the international game phases in June, September, and also the World Cup,” Addo stated in a podcast of Hamburger Abendblatt.
Ghana will be hoping to make history with the experienced coach. Having brought in some new faces already, he is expecting to boost the performance of the team with some uprising Ghanaian footballers during the 2023 AFCON qualifiers and the upcoming World’s prestigious tournament.
