Bechem United were held to a 1-1 drawn game in the match week 28 clash of the GPL by Accra Hearts of Oak on Saturday afternoon.
The league holders Hearts of Oak are still harbouring ambitions of defending the league title they won last season, but the story keeps complicating daily as they lack consistency and ability to win three or four matches in a roll.
Emmanuel Owusu scored the opener for Bechem United in the 30th minute before Suraj Seidu restored parity for the visitors at the brink of half time.
Bechem United, who have no title ambitions, maintain their position of second place on the league log, but Hearts of Oak may drop from the third spot depending on the results to come on Sunday.
