The Ghana U-20 male national team, the Black Satellites have fallen to a 2-0 defeat in the hands of their Nigerian counterparts on Sunday in their first match of the WAFU-B U20 tournament in Niger.
Ghana went into the tournament as defending champions, and are expected to prove threatening to opponents, but the unlucky Karim Zito led side have rather have to endure a slow start after losing to their West African rivals.
Ghana will look forward to making amends in their next Group match in Group B against Burkina Faso.
