Some social media users are not pleased by the news and have blasted the former Ghanaian international.
In a recent conversation on GTV Sports Plus’ Saving Our Passion show, Derek Boateng disclosed how Black Stars players staged a mutiny to force Andre Dede Ayew to be the first to enter the field before Ghana’s narrow defeat to Zambia in the semi-finals of the 2012 Africa Cup of Nations over juju claims.
Other reports at the time indicated that some of the Black Stars players felt Andre Ayew, who scored the decisive goal in the 2-1 quarter-final success over Tunisia, had strangely “bewitched” them, and the only way they could destroy his supposed spell was to force him on the field before the rest of them exited the dressing room.
Social media platform, Facebook has been chirping intensely since the former Black Stars midfielder voiced out.
Ghanaians did not like this revelation and took to social media to express their views on the statement.
The Facebook users spoke about Derek’s revelation after Ghanasportspage.com broke the news.
Others called it cheap talk with others reacting furiously.
