The MTN FA Cup semi final match between Accra Hearts of Oak and Dreams FC has been moved from its initial venue to the Accra sports stadium, the GFA announced on Tuesday.
The match which was originally scheduled to be played at the El Wak Park, has now been moved to the Accra sports stadium with no reasons given.
It is an open secret that the stands at the El Wak Park are not in good shape, and that is the basic reason why the quarter final game between Skyy FC and Accra Hearts of Oak was moved from the El Wak Park to the Accra sports stadium following concerns raised by Hearts of Oak.
It was therefore surprising that the semi final clash of Hearts of Oak and Dreams FC was initially scheduled for the El Wak Park. With reasons missing in the announcement of the new venue by the GFA, the two sides will now battle it out for a ticket to the final which will be played in Kumasi.
Dreams FC have qualified to the semi final stage of the FA Cup for the first time, and have an ambition of beating Heats of Oak to reach a historic final of the competition.
The match will kick off at 15:00GMT.
