The Porcupine Warriors are aiming to represent Ghana in Africa in the 2022/2023 season should they win the Ghana Premier League.
And with their ambitions to compete in the CAF competitions, the team will likely boost their squad with new faces.
The team’s pillar for the current season, Frank Etouga Mbella who has impressed many clubs in Europe is expected to make a move to face a new challenge after his debut season of the Ghanaian top-flight league.
The Kumasi Asante Kotoko forward has been in a splendid form since touching down in Ghana to play in the GPL and has been the poster boy with 19 goals after week 28.
Communications director of the club, David Obeng Nyarko has notified the fraternity that the Reds will bring in new faces for next season’s campaign whether Etouga leaves or stays.
With the Cameroonian goal-machine linked to join some European clubs after the season, Obeng Nyarko stated in an interview on Asempa FM that they have their plans for the next season concerning the player’s transfer rumour.
“We as a club have our plans for next season. Before the start of the season, we brought a player from Brazil in the name of Fabio Gama and other good players even from Division One League.”
“Whether Mbella leaves or stays, we will do proper reinforcement because we will be playing Africa next season.” Obeng Nyarko stated.
