The communications director of Accra Hearts of Oak, Kwame Opare has claimed that they are the highest paying club in Ghana.
Opare clarified that as of now the Phobians are leading the race in terms of paying players in Ghana and there is nothing like salary issues at the camp of the GPL reigning champions.
Many players have left the Ghana Premier League because of the meager wages, but the Rainbows spokesperson insists their players are well paid.
Speaking on Accra-based Original Tv with Agorohene Nana Yaw Opoku on Friday, May 14th Opare Addo stated, “I don’t know what others pay. I don’t think the premier league teams pay better than us. I don’t know what other teams pay but I can tell you for a fact that the rest of the teams don’t pay better than us.”
