Coach Samuel Boadu has named his starting line of Accra Hearts of Oak to face Dreams FC in the semi final of the MTN FA Cup at the Accra sports stadium this afternoon.
After missing the league match against Bechem United in the 1-1 draw at the Nana Fosu Gyeabour Park through suspension, right-back Samuel Inkoom has returned to the starting line up for the Phobians at the right side of the defence, pushing captain Fatawu Mohammed to the bench.
Some key players comprising Sulley Ali Muntari, Isaac Mensah, Nurudeen Abdul Aziz, Fatawu Mohammed, and goalkeeper Richard Atta will all start from the bench according to ghanasportspage.com deep throat sources.
Goalkeeper Richmond Ayi will start in goal with Samuel Inkoom and Dennis Nkrumah Korsah deployed at the right and left sides of defence respectively. Mohammed Alhassan will captain the team while partnering with Caleb Amankwah in central defence.
Salifu Ibrahim, Gladson Awako, Frederick Ansah Botchway and in form Suraj Seidu would handle the midfield battle while Afriyie Barnieh and Benjamin Yorke lead the attack.
Accra Hearts would have no choice but to beat Dreams FC and go to the final of the FA Cup, or risk ending the 2021/2022 season without any major trophy after winning the treble the season before.
