Coach Samuel Boadu is on the verge of winning his fifth trophy for Accra Hearts of Oak within a year after making a move from Medeama SC to coach the three-time African champions.
As a holder of the MTN FA Cup, the 36-year-old football tactician has geared up to defend the title.
He has been on a successful way since joining the Rainbows and having won the President Cup in March this year, Boadu aims to put his hands on the second title this season.
On their way to the finals of this edition’s MTN FA Cup, the defending champions knocked out Ignatius Osei-Fosu’s Dreams FC 3-2 at the Accra Sports Stadium on Saturday.
Commenting on his successful way to the finals of the MTN FA Cup for the second time the gaffer addressed, “As you can see I always eye for the cup. When I see a cup my eyes blink seriously. I always focus on taking the cup but is quite unfortunate that in this year’s league we are behind the leading team with this FA Cup once we have reached the final the day will decide the team that will play.
