Veteran Ghanaian football manager and former Black Meteors coach J. E Sarpong has rated the current administration of Ghana football led by Kurt E.S Okraku after two years.
Kurt Okraku was elected as GFA President after the Normalization Committee had ruled for a while following Kwasi Nyantakyi’s demotion and ban following the Anas Expose in 2018.
The astute football administrator and former sports journalist has been in office as the GFA President to date. He was recently co-opted to the Confederations of Africa Football (CAF) Executive Committee.
Coach Sarpong, whose career has seen him handling many of Ghana’s elite clubs including Asante Kotoko, Hearts of Oak, Great Olympics, Dawu Youngsters, Okwawu United, Liberty Professionals, and other clubs rated the GFA President 70 percent after two years in office claiming the 51-year old football leader is doing well.
“From afar it so determined. He has more things in front of him to do. We should stop criticizing and focus on the betterment of our football.
“He might do a mistake because he is a human being. I will give him 70% from where I sit for his performance so far.
“If he does anything wrong I will tell him.
“Sometimes they should allow us to get close to him to advise him but those around him might not give you the chance.
“Same thing happened to Kwasi Nyantakyi.” Coach Sarpong revealed on Original Tv’s Sports Punch Show.
