Ghana’s Group opponent for the Africa Cup of Nations 2023 qualifier Madagascar are set to arrive in Ghana in the next 11 days to face Ghana in their group opener.
Madagascar will arrive in the country on May 28, 2022, ahead of the match against Ghana on 1st June 2022 at the Cape Coast Sports Stadium
A contingent of 50 persons will make the trip to Ghana, comprising 28 players, members of the technical team, and FA officials.
Madagascar are however yet to name their final squad for the qualifiers next month, but the squad list is expected to be out soon.
Mr. Jocelyn, Coordinator and the EXCO member of the national team confirmed exclusively to ghanasportspage.com, the team’s travel arrangements as well as the mindset of winning in Ghana. According to him, the team will continue their journey to the match venue once arrive in Ghana – Accra.
Ghana will host Madagascar on June 1, 2022, at the Cape Coast sports stadium. The kick-off time is scheduled at 19:00GMT/7:00 PM local time.
