Asante Kotoko coach Prosper Nartey Ogum has named a 20-man squad to face their regional rivals tomorrow 19th May, 2022 at the Len Clay Sports Stadium in Obuasi.
The Porcupine Warriors have traveled to Obuasi today, 18th May 2022 to face Ashanti Gold on Thursday, 19the May 2022 in the ongoing Ghana Premier League Matchday 29.
Captain Abdul Ganiu who has been out for some weeks due to injury has returned to the team and he is available for Thursday’s clash. Coach Ogum’s side will be without influential defender Yussif Mubarik, due to accumulated yellow cards. Mubarik has picked up three yellow cards, and will not be available for the crucial game against Ashanti Gold SC on Thursday.
Another player who is not part of today’s trip to Obuasi is Dickson Afoakwa, the reason for his dropout is unknown.
