Accra Hearts of Oak midfielder Suraj Seidu has been discussing his career at the club as he reveals what he needs to do to be able to break into the first team as a regular starter.
Suraj has not been a starter in most of the matches at Hearts of Oak, but the few ones he has started and those in which he came of the bench, he has been phenomenal for the club, having scored a quiet a number of goals in recent matches, including the premier league games against Dreams FC and Bechem United.
As a youngster trying to break into the team to cement a position, Suraj has indicated that he needs hard work and discipline to be able to face the new challenge at Hearts of Oak.
“Now I’m here into a new challenge (at Hearts of Oak) so what I need to get to break into the team is hard work and discipline”, Suraj said in an interview on Friday.
Suraj joined Hearts of Oak from Tema United in August 2021 and has since been a promising star for the Phobians. Speaking on the technical team of Hearts of Oak, Suraj commended them for a good job being done for the club, especially for winning treble for the club the season before.
“As for the coaches I have not worked with them before. Last season the great work they did for Hearts of Oak which improved the team, I’m sure they are good coaches”, he said.
Suraj thanked the fans and club officials for their good relationship with the playing body, and assured the fans of nothing but the best from the players.
