Ghanasportspage.com, your authentic online portal can exclusively confirm that former Black Stars midfielder, Sulley Ali Muntari will make Hearts of Oak’s week 30 trip to Techiman to battle out against Eleven Wonders.
Hearts will play as visitors to the ‘Sure Wonders’ at the Ohene Ameyaw Park on Monday, 23rd May 2022.
The team will travel with a 17-man squad for the game as Inkoom and Muntari have been included for the visit.
Samuel Inkoom who also joined his compatriot recently has bagged two goals for the Rainbows and looking further to make a return to the Black Stars. He scored the only goal that earned them the vital win on Wednesday against Gold Stars.
The squad includes other players like goalkeeper Richard Attah and his competitor Richmond Ayi alongside captain Fatawu Mohammed, Daniel Afriyie Barnieh, Alhassan Mohammed, and Black Stars defender Dennis Korsah.
Muntari has just made a long journey trip with the team to Tamale in their goalless draw with RTU at the Aliu Mahama.
Aside from that, the 37-year midfielder has performed in other two away games against Legon Cities and Accra Lions, one at the El Wak Stadium and the other at the Accra Sports Stadium.
Ever since the legendary Ghanaian footballer, Sulley Muntari rejoined the Ghanaian Premier League league in earlier 2022 by playing for defending Champions Hearts of Oak, he has received elephant in commendations with regards to his performance.
He signed a six-month deal with Hearts of Oak in 2022 that will end at the end of the current season. He has so far played most of the matches and has scored one goal and assisted in two goals.
Having won the President’s Cup, the veteran midfielder is a step away from winning his second local trophy if they can beat Bechem United at the Baba Yara Sports Stadium in the finals of the MTN FA Cup.
