The Ghana Premier League week 30 saw the leaders Asante Kotoko losing to Berekum Chelsea at home by a goal to nil.
The Blues stunned the Porcupines with ten-men through an 81st minute strike from Kelvin Obeng. Owusu Osei was sent off on the 67th minute for punching the face of Nettey.
With a game in hands and 56 points, Kotoko are first on the table with 6 points clear after week 30.
On the other venue, Obuasi Ashanti Gold also rallied for 3-1 away win over relegation battling side Elmina Sharks.
Derrick Afriyie broke the deadlock on the 15th minute with a sublime finish to give AshGold the lead but Michelle Sarpong equalized with a brilliant strike just after three minutes.
Ashantigold restored the lead in the second half following Mohammed Ali’s goal with Yaw Annor adding the other.
At the Dun’s Park, Gold Stars also shined past RTU with a 2-0 victory courtesy of Prince Opoku Agyemang and Emmanuel Appau.
The win leaves them at the 11th position with 41 points. RTU are sitting at the 15th position with 34 points.
On Saturday, Great Olympics suffered a 2-1 home defeat in Accra to Medeama SC.
Maxwell Abbey Quaye opened the scoreline for the hosts in the 19th minute but the Mauve and Yellow boys fought back to claim a second position on the league log with 50 points through the goals from Vincent Atinga and Godfred Kwadwo Asamoah.
Elsewhere, King Faisal picked a point from away after a 1 – 1 draw with Karela United in Anyinase. Also, survival seeking WAFA drew 1-1 with Dreams FC in Dewu whiles Bechem United and Legon Cities played out a frantic goalless draw.
The game between Hearts of Oak and Eleven Wonders has been postponed by the Ghana Football Association due to the mass infection hitting the camp of the GPL holders.
