The Ghana Premier League outstanding league match week 29 fixture between Obuasi based Ashantigold SC and Asante Kotoko has been scheduled for Thursday, June 2, 2022, the GFA has confirmed.
The match which was scheduled originally for Thursday, May 19, 2022 at the Obuasi Len Clay sports stadium, but the match was postponed few hours to kick off following intelligence reports and advice from the Ghana Police Service, which borders on security and safety.
The match has now been scheduled for June 2 which will kick off at 3pm.
The GFA has however cautioned, that should the security conditions not improved by the time of the next home match of Ashantigold SC, the Association will order for the home matches of the Miners to be shifted to the club’s selected alternative match venue.
