Accra Hearts of Oak have suspended striker Kofi Kordzi for indiscipline after the player was found guilty of participating in an unauthorised football match, ghanasportspage.com can exclusively confirm.
Kordzi was seen playing in a ceremonial football match recently which was played on May 14, during Hearts of Oak MTN FA Cup semi final match against Dreams FC at the Accra sports stadium.
After failing to make the match day squad, Kofi Kordzi opted to go and participate in a football match dubbed “sala games”, played as part of the Islamic holiday celebrations.
After investigations by Accra Hearts of Oak, the striker has been found guilty of breaching the club’s regulations and has hit him with a two-week suspension without salary.
