The Local organizing committee (LOC) is set to launch the WAFU U-17 Cup of Nations tournament today, 24th May 2022 at the Ridge Royal Hotel in Cape Coast.
The Chairman for LOC Samuel Anim Addo and his members are expected to have outdoor plans and programs for the tournament that is scheduled for the Cape Coast Sports Stadium from 11th June to 24th June 2022. Ghana Football Association hereby invites all the media houses who wish to attend the program today at 11:00GMT.
Ghana Black Starlets have been paired with Nigeria and Togo in group A, whilst Cote d’Ivoire, Benin, Burkina Faso, and Niger will battle it out in Group B. The winner of the tournament will qualify for the 2023 Africa Cup of Nations in Algeria.
