Accra Hearts of Oak midfielder has been ruled out of the remaining matches of the club in the league, the club has confirmed.
Salifu returned to action from injury recently, but was not too lucky as he picked up yet a new injury in the same part of the leg in their premier League match week 31 match against Karela United in Accra. The midfielder was rumoured to have been ruled out of the season on Tuesday due to the recent knock, and the reports have now been validated by the club’s fitness coach.
“Salifu Ibrahim has been ruled out of the remaining matches of Hearts of Oak in the league”, Paul Tandoh, fitness trainer of the club confirmed to ghanasportspage.com on Wednesday.
We gather that the former Eleven Wonders skipper will be out for two to three weeks on the sidelines.
