Asante Kotoko coach Prosper Nartey Ogum has hinted of his preparedness to take the Porcupine Warriors to the Champions league .
After clinching his first title in the top-level football of Ghana, the Kotoko coach has opened up on his next move saying that Kotoko needs to prepare for the Champions League as the stakes are very high.
Prosper led Kotoko to draw 1-1 with Ashgold in Obuasi and seem to have set his sights already on the Champions League, revealing part of his plans after the match.
“We have to prepare very well because watching Ahly and WAC in the finals, it could be compared to any European game “, Prosper said after the Obuasi match.
He also said no one should be envious of the Kotoko coaching job as it comes with a lot of things. The coach was carried high by Danlad Ibrahim and his colleagues after the match and was very excited to have led Kotoko to the trophy.
Prosper previously coached the likes of Dwarfs, Karela, and Wafa before moving to Kotoko where he’s helped them to dethrone bitterest rivals Hearts of Oak as league Champions.
