The latest update from the camp of the Ghana Black Stars has is it that coach Otto Addo has dropped the two local players, Daniel Afriyie Barnieh and Augustine Okrah from the national team.
Meanwhile, Hearts of Oak left-back, Dennis Korsah who earned late call-up has been named among the remaining squad for the trip to Angola to play Central African Republic on Sunday, June 5, 2022 in the 2023 AFCON qualifiers.
The team on Friday, June 5, 2022 at exactly 4pm left their camp/hotel, Alisa Hotel in Accra for the Kotoka International Airport to make a trip to Angola for their Group E matchday 2 game against Central African Republic.
After matchday 1, the Black Stars lead the table with 3 points after beating Madagascar on Wednesday evening at the Cape Coast Sports Stadium. However, Central African Republic also conceded a 2-1 defeat to Angola.
We can also confirm that the team continue their trip to participate in a mini tournament in Japan after Sunday’s game as part of preparations for the upcoming World Cup in Qatar.
