Asante Kotoko goalkeeper Ibrahim Danlad has been called up to replace Richard Ofori for the Kiri cup in Japan.
Goalkeeper Richard Ofori reported to camp in Accra on Thursday but checks revealed after training that he had aggravated a hamstring injury and could not travel with the team so the Black Stars technical team has invited Ibrahim Danlad to replace him.
Ghana on Wednesday evening secured a 3-0 win at home over the ‘Barea’ men of Madagascar in the group opener at Cape Coast.
The Black Stars will fly to Japan after tomorrow’s clash with C.A.R and have arranged a mini tournament in Japan, which starts from 10th June to 14th June 2022. Ghana will play against Chile, Tunisia, and Japan. This is part of the preparation ahead of FIFA World Cup 2022 Qatar in November 2022.
