• The Porcupine Warriors to compete in Africa next season
Former Kumasi Asante Kotoko, Eric Nii Baah has advised Asante Kotoko to augment their squad with quality and experienced players before participating in the upcoming CAF Champions League.
The Porcupine Warriors have emerged as the winners of the GPL 2021/22 and it gives them the green light to play in the next CAF Champions League the former Porcupine Warriors goal-stopper believes the team needs to add some qualities and the players who are well known to the African terrain.
The team has had a very nice season to clinch the league title with the Cameroonian goal producer, Frank Etouga Mbella, and his compatriot Georges Mfegue.
Ahead of the start of next season’s championship, the former Red goalkeeper has charged the Kumasi-based club to make the right acquisitions for the competition.
“For now if I observe certain things and going to Africa with this team will be very difficult because I have watched other teams from other African countries. Their intensive is very high then how I see Kotoko but if we want to go far in the competition then we have to beef up with some experienced players who have tasted the league before.”
Nii Baah, the former Black Meteors goalkeeper advised the club during an interview with Akwaaba Radio in Berekum- Brong Ahafo.
