Accra Hearts of Oak right back Samuel Inkoom has become a hot cake in the transfer market following his impressive season for the Phobians, and has already attracted huge offers from Turkey with Chinese Super League club Wuhan Three Towns F.C being the latest to join the chase for the U-20 FIFA World Cup winner’s signature.
Wuhan Three Towns F.C, who have just been promoted to the Chinese top flight league, have prepared an offer of £2M for the signature of the Black Stars defender, with the offer set to arrive at Accra Hearts of Oak soon, ghanasportspage.com can exclusively report.
The former Asante Kotoko, FC Basel star arrived at Accra Hearts of Oak in April in the second round of the ongoing 2021/22 Ghana Premier League season, where he made his debut for the Phobians against his former side, Asante Kotoko at the Baba Yara sports stadium. He has since been very much impressive for the Rainbow boys, scoring on two occasions and taking over the right back position, making it difficult for the team captain Fatawu Mohammed to break into coach Boadu’s staring XI.
Inkoom has been on the wish list of Turkish Super Lig side Sivasspor, who showed interest in signing the 33-year old two times Africa Cup of Nations finalist for a fee reported to be in the range of £1M, but the Chinese Super League debutants, Wuhan Three Towns F.C are ready to submit a higher bid of £2M the 2010 Swiss Super League champion.
Accra Hearts of Oak have qualified to the final of the 2022 MTN FA Cup, and will face Bechem United. A win for Hearts of Oak will see Inkoom win the Ghana FA Cup for the first time with 21 times Ghana Premier League winners.
